Before You Come

1

Arrive 30 minutes early

It will take time to navigate the traffic and find the centre, to meet the teacher, and discuss anything either about you health or about the structure of our classes and how you can benefit from them.

2

What to Bring

Please carry a yoga mat, if you have one. If you don't have one, we have spare mats at the centre, for your first class. Please wear loose clothing, appropriate for light stretching excercises. We have water and a changing room. We ask you to leave the footwear, outside at the door.

3

Come on an empty stomach

Avoid a heavy meal within three hours. A cup of tea beforehand, maybe fine.

4

Rest and Observe Whenever You Like

This is your trial class, we do not expect, any skill or performance from you. Do whatever is comfortable and whatever you understand without any desire for achievement in your first class. Allow the teacher to take care of you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many trial classes do I get?

We offer you one trial class. After the trial class, you can decide to continue. If you do, then you have to take a membership, for a month, a quarter, six months, or for a year. Please discuss either with the teacher, or call on any of the numbers given here.

Do I have to join immediately?

There is no hurry and compulsion for you to join the classes. If you like the atmosphere, and the overall feeling of the class, go ahead and pay up. Or else, take your time and come back when you feel ready.

I am completely unfit. How will you be able to help me?

Our teachers and staff are trained to take care of you. Your current fitness level Is not of concern to us. We realize that you may want to start yoga because you want to improve your health. The Sivananda class is not difficult, but requires a few days for you to get adjusted to. Be patient. The good thing is that the class is repetitive, so it becomes familiar within a short span.

We do the same thing every day, without much change. Also, you are welcome to lie down and take rest whenever you wish to. And the good news? In about a month of regular practice, you will feel fitter than you have in years!

Can I bring a friend or a family member?

Please do- just remind them to also fill a trial form so the teacher knows whom to expect.

I have a back problem/high blood pressure/diabetes/etc

Please provide details in the trial form, and also, just before you begin the trial class. Our staff will guide your to attempt the class safely in the first few days.
