Why a Course

Learn It Properly Once

In the first month of coming to the regular classes, you have to participate in and complete a Beginner's Course. This is a step-by-step introduction to the Sivananda class. It is compulsory to attend a four or six class Beginner's Course, whether you have done some yoga practice before, or are completely new to yoga. The Beginner's Course schedule is announced frequently. Choose the one that is the most comfortable for you.

What Does the Course Cover?

The course is a step-by-step introduction to the world-famous Sivananda class - Kapalabhati, Anuloma Viloma, Surya Namaskar and the twelve asanas. Also taught are the five points of yoga, the lineage, benefits of each practice, and the foundations of correct breathing, relaxation, exercise and diet.

Each batch is taught by one teacher (not several different teachers), You have a chance to get familiar not only with the syllabus, but also the teacher and the teachings. Every class ends with questions and answers on what has just been taught.
