sat & sun – 8.00 - 9.30 am | we have many regular yoga classes during the week. you can come to any of them. whether you are a beginner or an advanced practitioner, we will take care of you, and help you enjoy the maximum benefits from your practice.
we have a monthly, quarterly and annual membership for individuals and for families, for each of our three centres in gurgaon. you can also pay per class, should you want to drop in and do a class whenever it is convenient. please call us for the details.
if you are a beginner, it will take approximately 12 classes to understand the system and method of the sivananda class. if you have done different types of yoga before, it will take you approximately the same time to adjust our system.
the 10 am classes and the weekend classes are of 90 minutes duration. the early morning, evening and late evening classes are of 60 minutes.
the sivananda regular open classes are of an intermediate level. we do offer beginners’ classes in gurgaon as well. kindly refer to the link 'begin here' for details. in the meanwhile, you are welcome to drop in on any day and start along with the existing group.
the sivananda advanced classes are meant to improve your daily practice of yoga. they increase your strength, stamina, flexibility and concentration, and challenge you at the physical, mental and emotional level. you can attempt an advanced class, and participate often thereafter, only if you have been practising at the centre for three-to four months regularly.
as part of a regular programme, we also conduct courses on pranayama, weight-loss through yoga, therapy for back pain, introduction to meditation, beginners’ yoga workshops, and advanced yoga classes.
in addition to the regular open classes at the centre, we also teach pre & post natal yoga, we have yoga retreats & holidays, teach people at home & conduct many corporate yoga classes.
