an introduction to pilates (pee-lah-tays) on a mat, a way of improving posture and making the body strong, lean, and more balanced. pilates provides gentle conditioning, working in key areas of the body, especially the spine, making it more flexible, and strong.
excellent for toning, especially around the stomach and waist. it is also good for people who enjoy yoga, professional dance, sports and other forms of fitness.
